The choice of media determines performance and lifetime
We select the filter medium according to the operating temperature, humidity, chemical composition, abrasiveness and properties of the dust. We also take into account the surface load of the filter, the pressure loss and the method of cleaning the elements.
For the first assessment we need:
- device type and regeneration method – pulse cleaning, backwashing or mechanical armoring
- nature, concentration and granularity of dust
- operating and peak temperature
- humidity and chemical composition of air or gas
- dimensions, fixing and condition of current filter elements
